Our Extracts Laboratory specialises in the research, development and production of more than 350 extracts and aromatic distilled waters, using only skin-friendly solvents such as water, vegetable glycerine (preferably organically certified) and organic Sunflower Oil.
When it comes to procuring raw materials, we primarily rely on our own botanical garden, where we cultivate a large variety of organic herbs that thrive in our climate, such as mint, rosemary, sage, lavender and Absinthium, as well as vegetables, fruits and flowers. Our raw materials are also sourced from our sister company Erbamea, our trusted supplier of plant-based raw materials.
All our plant materials undergo rigorous testing to ensure their quality and safety. One important example is multi-residue pesticide analysis, which is conducted to rule out the presence of more than 600 different plant protection products.
These ingredients are processed on site in our Extracts Laboratory, where a team of experts draws on its skill in capturing the ’essence’ of plants, selecting the active ingredients that make our cosmetics so distinctive and special. By producing in-house more than 350 extracts and distilled waters that characterise our phytocosmetics, developed and formulated by our Research & Development Laboratory, we are able to ensure products of the highest quality.
