Environmental sustainability is one of the core principles that has always guided our work: this value is reflected in our ‘plant-based cosmetics’, which are made from plant-based raw materials that are, of course, renewable.
All of our phytocosmetics are formulated and prepared in Lodi, at our production facility, which has had an Environmental Management System (UNI EN ISO 14001 certification) in place since 2002.
Energy from renewable sources
The production site and the Logistics Hub are 100% powered by energy from renewable sources, partly self-produced and partly purchased with a guarantee of origin, certifying their source.
Solar energy is a key pillar of our strategy: in 2023, we expanded our solar farm, which was installed in 2017, to increase its capacity from 977 kWp to 1,677 kWp.
In 2024, 65% of the energy generated by our solar panels is used directly by our plants, while 35% is fed into the grid, thus contributing to an improved overall energy mix.

Our Logistics Hub, a rare example of an industrial building with an A1 energy rating, was designed back in 2010 with long-term sustainability in mind. It is a concrete example of how innovation can reduce our environmental impact.
Covering 27,000 m², it is equipped with a heating and air conditioning system powered exclusively by geothermal energy, eliminating the need for methane gas. It also features an innovative underfloor cooling system that uses groundwater.
Net-zero emissions target
All the solutions we adopt at the manufacturing and distribution stages aim at minimising our carbon footprint in order to contribute to the progressive evolution of our business model towards a carbon-neutral economy, in line with European climate neutrality targets and national green transition targets.
That is why, at the beginning of 2022, we joined Co₂alizione Italia, a movement of more than 89 Italian companies from different business sectors that have chosen to integrate the goal of climate neutrality into their articles of association, creating the conditions necessary to achieve the climate neutrality target set by the European Union for 2050.
We also emphasise the importance of using water resources responsibly. By embracing sustainable practices and cutting-edge technology, we are committed to taking a balanced and mindful approach to managing this valuable resource.
