The fresh green of Mint
Mint
LATIN NAME: Mentha piperita
PROPERTIES: refreshing, purifying, toning
The Mint plant, which has a strong scent and deep green leaves, grows in the wild and can survive in any climate. The peppermint species derives its name from the Latin ‘piperatus’ due to its spicy flavour. Mint has therapeutic properties thanks to the essential oil it contains, which is rich in menthol and flavonoids. These are also present in our phytocosmetics, providing a refreshing and toning effect.
